Panama Maritime Authority is pleased to welcome you to the technical certificates electronic application System
In an effort to improve the maritime security of ship amendments were made to SOLAS 1974 (Chapter XI-2 / ISPS Code) which require specific information to be maintained on board ship and continuously updated as the information is changed.
For this matter, the Merchant Marine Circular (MMC) 359 provides the instructions and procedure for the implementation and certification of the ISPS Code and national requirement for Recognized Security Organization, Companies, Masters and Operators with respect to maintaining the required the International Ship Security Certificate (ISSC) on board the Panamanian flagged vessels and will be subject to review by Port State Control (PSC) Authorities.
This ISPS authorization granted by this Administration should be printed and kept on board at all time together with the ISSC (Interim or Full Term) following the requirements established in the MMC 359.
If after one month of not having completed the pending documentation, the system will automatically delete the application and must re-apply again.
